School meals cost £2.75 per day.
Meals are prepared on the premises and dinner money is payable in advance via ParentPay on a Monday morning or each term.
Children may bring a packed lunch. We ask that parents do not include sweets or chocolate in packed lunches. We are a fish and nut-free zone, so no foods containing nuts or fish, e.g. Nutella chocolate spread or tuna sandwich should be sent in your child’s packed lunch.
The government provides funding for school meals for every child in state-funded infant schools. Every child in reception, year one and year two in state-funded schools will receive a free school lunch. If you prefer your child to have a packed lunch, please inform the office.
*If you have a child in reception, year one or year two, why is it important that you still apply for free school meals? *
Children whose families are eligible for free school meals attract additional funding for schools known as Pupil Premium. Pupil Premium is £1300 per year per child and provides the school with additional money to support your child to achieve their potential. It is extremely important that you apply if you think you are eligible as the school will receive £1300 for the 6 years your child is in school.
